A runaway from Hari Raya Pussa

We planned early this year that we will have a runaway trip to anywhere we can think of for this coming Hari Raya Pussa. She faced questions that she hate to reply... "when you going to get married?"

I guess if there is an answer then would not end up being asked to answer this question. Haahaahaa... Chim lei... I think so too.

With my new job, she was upset coz I am not able to take leave to "escape" with her. Lucky the new company, compensate the PH leave on Monday. So I shared the good news with her and we managed to plan our short getaway to Batam again. This time we planned to stayed at Novotel. The hotel just won best hotel in 2007. Check the website seem ok so we set that this will be the place as our "recharge" trip.

We set off around 8pm from Singapore to Batam. We managed to clear the custom without much hassle. Upon arrival, we will fetched by Calvin. After a short conversation, we found out that he is our boss's frend. What a small world.

Upon arrival, the hotel check us into a room with double bed. Our 1st look then tell each other "I dun wan to have the same bed as you" and started laughing. I guess both of us want a place to "think" and "recharge". We went to have our late dinner and they served very nice salmon steak. I love it right after the 1st taste.

After dinner, we went back to our room and watch tv. Chit chat and shortly we went to bed.

We wake up around 9plus and went to have our complimentary breakfast. International Americian breakfast rated at Batam standard... Haahaa.. Yes, not much choices. Anyway, no feel like eating so I settled for some hotdogs, bread, beans and eggs.

Since it is raining heavily, we went back to our rooms and watch TV. It has been long that I want such a trip coz my leg is tired from walking the road. Need a rest...a break from the daily routine.

After awhile, both of us went to take a nap. Seem like a pig, eat and sleep oni. We wake up ard 3plus and thought why not let's have our cup noodle. Yes, cup noodle in my holiday. No nagging from mum and be total lazy. I know I know is not healthy but for once lah.

I wanted the same dinner so I asked whether is ok for her and we went to the restaurant for the same salmon steak. Same taste and now I can still recall the taste. Better than TCC which I guaranted. The band starts playing music that makes my mind runs and it starts....wondering wondering...

After that we went back our rooms for our red wine, after drinking half a bottle. Both our stomach is not feeling well, so we decided not to continue. After all, we are feeling tipsy already. We watched Catwoman and Chicgo. Chit chat till 11 plus, we had our supper which is cup noodle again. After that, she fallen asleep. My minds go blank and start travelling...

I guess that how she wanted her trip to be and I glad I am there for her. Hei frend, just rem I will be with you if you need me. Sweet dreams....
