Those were the days....

my tv is on, laptop is on, washing machine is on, my fan is on but why this sunday seem so long and it makes me feel upset....

*tick* *tock* *tick* *tock* the hour & min’s hands go anti-clockwise……….i miss the days burning my weekends in SIM with my gang... well, at that time, i am looking forward to NOW and yet I am miss those days...

Dajie calling my handphone asking what breakfast I want to eat, Xueli sms that she board the bus, Lau da sms that he booked my favourite seat for me liao, Steven sms he got to do maria first and will be in school by lunch time, E-lin replied that she just woke up and Ah mi called asking whether I want to eat Big breakfast..... those were the days...

well, i am glad to own these memories in my "databank"....those were the days....

I believe that we will create more good memories if all of us stayed in a group just like the past 2.5 years....let put our hands together to create our memories.... i am looking forward to 21 aug 05...

My first time...

today I really had butterfly in my stomach for the minute I opened my eyes...

I am going to present ACRA & Bizfile system to Chinese delagates from Tian Jin. I got the assignment on 5 Aug 05 (6pm) from my No.2 . At first thought that it is the normal presentation so seemly ignored.

But things did not worked as it goes on.... On mon, the organiser told us that there will be no translater and I am expected to do the present in Chinese. I almost fainted. I rem the last time I speak Chinese in front of a group of people was Seconday 3 (Chinese Story telling competition)...

After some struggling in my mind, I decided to give it a shot. The presentation is schedule in Royal Hotel (3pm). My collegue and I left office around 2pm. When I reached the hotel, I asked for the in-charge but he told us there is no such guest. I called the office and after 4 calls then we realised that we went to the wrong hotel. There is Royal Hotel-Orchard, Royal Hotel-Queen and Royal Hotel-Newton.

Sigh, so we arrived late at the venue. I am so angry with myself for not getting the venue right. I had to surpress the "growing" butterfly in my stomach and at the same time set-up my laptop for the presentation. When I looked up the crowd, to my horror there are almost 40 people and none of them understand English. They handed me a list of the people present in the Board Room, after going through the list, I almost pee in my pants [***blush***], all of them are top-notch government officers.

However, thanks to my collegue who is there to help me and also had to thanks to my sec 3 Chinese teacher did not take back all my Chinese. Heehee...

Well, things goes well and I had a good learning session today.

I told the rest via email that I am going for this presentation briefly and ask for blessing. I am a bit sad that I only received Richard's becoz dajie is busying with the "SEX" topic while Steven is busying "defending".... *grin*

I wrote this blog in the office and everyone has left for the day. I am going back now. Good Nite.

***3 Days 2 Nite***

I opened my eyes and quickly jumped off my bed... I am meeting Lau da at 9.30am... I get myself bath and quickly changed into my clothes...

*Ring* *Ring* Haahaahaa...is Dajie...She asked "where are you huh?...are you with Lau da liao?....did you bring....Oops, I am so guilty that I forget completely about what I need to bring to the chalet....So after apologies to her, we ended our conversation.... I went to the market to get myself some snacks and proceeded to the bus-stop to wait for Lau da...

I finaly got up Lau da's car and started my 3D2N's holiday...... After saying hello to lau da and his "son". We started our adventure together and that is Dajie's place...We had to refer to the road map to go to Dajie's place... after some wrong turns here and there we finally reach "Lobby B"....I saw Dajie and Xiaomei's happy face makes my day even brighter... Well, after dajie finished her "greeting" to Lau da's son (molesting Panda actually)...we make our way to Panda's hotel...

When we reached the "hotel", we have a drink at the kopitiam and waited for the "hotel" to start its day. After Panda settled in, we headed for “Giant”…

Lau Da finally parked his car (hei hei…no jumped into conclusion ok….not his parking skills...is we had a hard time finding parking lot)…. We started our “shiok” buying session…. We filled up the whole trolley with food, dajie always worried she will starved the family members so she keeps loading the trolley (不亏是我们的好大姐).

After all the loading, we proceed to the check-out counter…. Wow lau, si bei long Q lei… so being typical Singaporean, lau da & dajie Q for 1 counter while Xiaomei & I Q for another. While we finally waiting for our turn, Lau da asked us to make a guess how much we will spent for the food… The housewife won and she won herself a durian feast…

Looking at my watch, the time is 2.45pm… The 3 ladies sitting in the car, looking out at the windows eagerly for Lau da’s return from the “check-in” counter. Finally, we reached Chalet K. We started our “stock count”, loading of our food into the fridge and personal belongings. Next is the BIGGEST mission of the day!!! That is to create a “treasure hunt” for our Birthday BOY. After our brainstorming session, we started our “hiding”. *Ring* *Ring*…Dajie’s hp….Oops is Ah Mi…. He told us he is making his way to the Chalet… Can you image how we feel? 热窝上的蚂蚁Finally, we settled down in the living room sweating like waterfall…the time is just right, we saw a HONDA car turned into Chalet K…. I ran to welcome him and the minute he settled himself. I had a feeling that he is very comfortable just like 回娘家…..

I become the "target" of the "aeroplane" in the house.... so I hurried to light up the mosquite coil with the help of others....then we started our card game… *Ring* *Ring*….Dajie’s hp (Thanks for being the contact person)… This time is Steven, checking us out and after arranging the meeting time, they ended the conversation.

After sometime…. We saw Steven walking towards the main door giving the group of us a SURPRISE… Hmm… he has a tired look (my own assumption) but excited that he joined the group for his 3D2N.

We started our discussion about where to have our dinner?... what time E-lin meeting us?… Dajie called her and make the necessary arrangement. Ah mi decided that he will prepare breakfast for the group that makes the gals excited. We headed for Tamp’s NTUC to buy the ingredients. After buying the ingredients, we asked Dajie to call E-lin to check what happened to her. She told us her paperback give-way so Dajie, Steven & I went to pick her.

9.20pm... we reached the Shore Restaurant. All of us were hungry. We waited the food with the jokes created by our two entertainers (thank u Ah mi & E-lin). All of us were laughing happily and I really missed this feeling and gathering. It seems a long long time since all of us sat together and had our meals.

After passing here and there, we finished our dinner. Jeremy told us he needs to send Cheryl home. We were happy that we have “time” to prepare the “surprise” for him so we told him that we will take Lau da’s car back first…

We planned and finally Ah mi’s car drove and parked his car. He knew that we will celebrate his birthday with him and hope he loves the surprises....

Soon, all of us settled down at the living room….

Dajie said “Damei, why are you carrying your ‘purple’ bag, why don’t you put in down?” I feel like replying her “wa lau, you thought I like to carry my bag everywhere I go meh” But I cant! Instead, I stared HARD HARD at her. Xueli walked towards her direction whispered to her ears and then she gave me a “sorry” look and started laughing.

I told Steven, Jeremy & E-lin that we have prepared a game for the 3 of them. After explaining the game rules, the 3 of them started to find the clues. Aiyo, as all of us know lah, Xiao xiaomei is super ONs so she started climbing up and down forgetting she is wearing SKIRT. After running up and down, searching here and there, Jeremy finally “found” himself the other birthday present. E-lin and Steven also won themselves a present for taking part in the “treasure hunt”.

After the game, we went to bath and changed into our sleeping clothes. To the guys’ disappointment, none of us are in sexy pajamas…. Haahaahaa… we gathered at Lau da and Steven’s room… we started updating each other. After sometime, we decided that all of us sleep in the same room so we started to shift all mattresses into the room. I also forgotten what we talked and discussed we finally call it a day…..

After reading so much are you tired????...I am continuing…..

Opening my eyes, I saw E-lin shifting herself to another comfortable position. I turned myself and I saw Steven still sleeping so I closed my eyes to catch some sleep. After sometime, I heard some noise. I saw Jeremy climbing out from his position and started gathering his pillow & blanket. I saw him walking towards the door….. closed my eyes till I heard some noise, this time a bit louder coz it is Dajie… Haahaahaa then next is Lau da…

Feeling guilty, I started to get myself out of the bed. Brush my teeth and go to the kitchen to help out. After all the chopping, frying, serving… our breakfast is ready.... *yummy* *yummy*








After eating, we went to changed and head for Wild Wild Wet. Feeling excited should be the group feeling but a little disappointed as Steven is not able to join us but we promised to take photo to fill the gap for him. We met Simon at the food court.

Yeah! Here we come, Wild Wild Wet!!! We had a lot of FUN and we enjoyed ourselves very much. Steven, we didn’t forget about you lei coz I heard “why steven did joined us” here and there…

Don’t know how many minutes and hours passed… we agreed to bath and have our lunch. Expected… the gals take a longer time than the guys. Simon headed for home to collect the curry vegetable and pick-up Steven while the rest of us headed for Bedok for our lunch. After our lunch, Jeremy went to pick Cheryl and we can’t wait to go home to prepare our food for our “Saturday fever”.

Aiya, there is drizzling lei… we had to execute our contingency plan. Steven and I were tasked to start the fire. We started the fire at the temporary aluminum foil. Both of us don’t really know how to do it but we managed to get it started. Everyone start to gather around the fire place to chat. The rain bids goodbye to us and we shifted the fire, food and chairs to the BBQ area.

We had great fun and have eaten a lot. *Ring* *Ring* ya ya dajie’s hp… this time is Jie Fu…. He is coming… Oops 不可以 玩 dajie and lau da liao... Although some disappointed but we looked forward to see Jie Fu’s new car….haahaahaa

I saw Steven started to BBQ the food so I also rolled up my sleeves to help out. We have a lot of fun and while we are preparing the food. Edward’s girlfriend is sitting there doing nothing. Simon is busying clearing the table for Jie Fu and Edward while Jie Fu’s wife is doing nothing…Sigh… Haahaa…大姐, after reading so much are you feeling guilty… haahaa…

Finally, we saw Jie Fu’s car drove in… Jeremy even went to open his car door to welcome him… Hmm … 不愧是姐夫,得高万重. Xiaomei and Xiao xiaomei became agent showing Jie Fu around. With giggling and running arond, time passes......we started to pack the table and put out the fire. We take turns to bath and soon all of us are back to our mattresses.

Sleeping time? No, no, still early…Actually is already 1 plus but we are going to play game. We draw lots to split ourselves into two groups; Richard, Sharon, Xueli & Jeremy are Team 1 while Simon, Steven, Cheryl & I are in Team 0.

We learned the game rules along the way and while everyone is engross in the game… A “frend” of mine which I feared most came to “join” the FUN… I was screaming and don’t know at a split second I already “flip” to the other end of the room… Steven is the “HERO” to chase away my “friend”…thank u, Steven…

We have a lot of FUN and all thanks to Xiao xiaomei despite the little “unpleasant quarrel” here and there….. haahaahaa

Don’t know we play for how long, we finally agreed to play the last 3 rounds and called it a day… frankly speaking my eyes are tired but I am not willing to call it a day but my eyes just refused to listen. Well, I thought I was the only one BUT to my surprise everyone of us started to chat and joke. Dajie threw a topic on “RAPE”… aiyo typical dajie as long as the topic is about “SEX” she will be very happy. Haahaahaa… the discussion get hotter and hotter… the lights went on and off… the group of people rolled from one corner to another… I can’t rem at which point of our discussion, poor simon had to “demonstrate” rape to dajie… sob sob sob…don’t misunderstand it is Simon who is crying…

The light of the room goes off… and my eyes also closed… worried that my “friend” will turn around to play his visit… pulled the blanket to cover myself and……

Alamak whose alarm clock!!! Well, forced my eyes to open…

Wow so fast morning liao… I refused to wake up coz today is the last day of our chalet… after I brushed my teeth and packed my stuff… I went to the kitchen to help lau da and dajie to prepare breakfast…

Everyone takes their own time to wash up and by 8plus we sat at the dining table for our breakfast… We have Maggie mee and hot beverage…After our breakfast, some of us went to pack the rooms while the others help out in the kitchen…

Soon the time passed…. is time to say Goodbye…. Xiaomei offered to send me home but after some discussion Simon offered to send me home as he is staying nearer to me. Simon, thank you very very much…..

Although feeling sad and reluctant to bid goodbye, all of us begin our journey home….
